Italy – Half past five. There we are. On top of the 2500 meter high Passo Grosté. It is still pitch dark. And cold, especially that. A biting wind bites my face and pulls my clothes. When we also see a thick band of clouds on the horizon, our mood slowly but surely begins to fall. We had imagined this Sunrise Ski in Trentino in a very different way: a beautiful sky colored skies and perfectly groomed slopes where we would be the first to ski in the earliest sunlight. That’s how it was in the folder. But in our enthusiasm not to miss anything, we turn out to be too early.
